WORKPLACE SAFETY FOR STAFF: THE MINISTER OF FORESTRY AND WILDLIFE LISTENING TO HIS PERSONNEL

Following the kidnapping and subsequent release of Mr. FOMEKONG DJINOUWO, Senior Forestry Technician and Head of the Forestry Section at the MENCHUM Divisional Delegation, the Minister of Forestry and Wildlife chaired a working session on this matter on December 3, 2025.

During this exchange, the Minister, accompanied by several close collaborators, sought to learn more about the tragic events experienced by this staff member between November 19 and 21, 2025. The Head of the Department wished to gather detailed information on the events that occurred.

This meeting allowed the Minister to remind his collaborators of the need for vigilance and caution as they carry out their duties in the service of the State, wherever they are called upon.
