The Minister of Forestry and Wildlife informs economic operators in the wood sector that, due to the significant disruptions that have affected forestry activities as a result of the ongoing crisis in the international timber market, as well as prolonged adverse weather conditions, and with a view to ensuring better supervision of forestry activities during the transition period from 2025 to 2026, the Ministry will, upon request of interested parties, authorize a two-month extension of activities.
This extension will run from January 1 to February 28, 2026, and will apply to valid forestry exploitation titles and log yards for the 2025 fiscal year that are set to expire on December 31, 2025.
