On November 24, 2024, a workshop was held Yaoundé to validate the guide for investigating and monitoring forestry and wildlife litigations.
Chaired by Mr. MFOU'OU MFOU'OU Bruno, Inspector General of MINFOF, the workshop aimed to amend the guide for investigating and monitoring forestry and wildlife litigations. This document is the result of collaborative work between the National Control Brigade, the Central and Decentralized Services of MINFOF, and technical partners in the Forestry and Wildlife sub-sector. The aim is to ensure that this explanatory guide contributes to the preservation and management of forestry and wildlife resources in Cameroon through the control and application of the regulations in force regarding the control and monitoring of litigations.
The document presents, in a structured manner, the legal fundamentals of forest and wildlife control; the key stages of field missions; documentary quality requirements; and litigation monitoring mechanisms. In short, it serves as a compass for personnel assigned to control missions to master procedures.
