Seven years after its last edition, RACEWOOD is making a comeback. Following previous editions in Gabon, Ghana, Cameroon, and Congo, the 2025 edition is once again being held in Pointe-Noire, Congo. The event is organized by the Tropical Timber Technical Association under the patronage of Congo’s Minister of Forest Economy, Dr. Rosalie Matondo, who is also the official sponsor of RACEWOOD 2025.
This technically oriented conference brings together a wide range of stakeholders in the forestry sector, notably the ministers responsible for forest affairs in Cameroon and Gabon, as well as the heads of tropical timber companies from across the sub-region.
Taking place from July 1 to 2, 2025, this major gathering aims to address strategic topics, discuss current challenges facing the sector, and share expertise in sustainable forest management.
RACEWOOD is the premier gathering for all players in Africa’s tropical timber industry, bringing together around one hundred European and African companies in search of economic, technological, and environmental partnerships.
