AUDIENCE WITH THE AMBASSADOR OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY, CORINNA FRICKE

On May 21, 2025, the Minister of Forestry and Wildlife received in audience Her Excellency Corinna FRICKE, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, at the VIP Lounge of his Cabinet. The Ambassador is nearing the end of her mission in Cameroon. This meeting provided an opportunity for both parties to review the state of cooperation between their two countries.

This excellent cooperation is characterized by a shared vision on sustainable forest management and advocacy for fairer financial justice, as well as the implementation of various projects with GIZ and other German development cooperation agencies.

Additionally, the upcoming Seed Bank project, supported by German cooperation, heralds even greater prospects for the two nations. The Minister commended the Ambassador for her effectiveness, dedication, and direct approach throughout her mission. He expressed hope that the cooperation between Cameroon and Germany will remain vibrant and productive. He wished her success as she takes up her new post in Mali in the same capacity.
