Working visit of Minister Jules Doret Ndongo to Sangmelima

The Minister of Forestry and Wildlife has paid a working visit to Sangmelima, capital city of the Dja and Lobo Division to evaluate the level of work done so far by his field collaborators in and around the Paul Biya Monument ahead of the eminent inauguration.

The head of the Forestry and Wildlife Ministry was visibly satisfied with all what his ministerial department has done so far in terms of reforestation of sites along the streets of the town, giving the town a facelift.

So far, the exercise of reforestation is successful though some acts of vandalism on some trees are still being witnessed. That notwithstanding, the Minister called on his field collaborators, as well as administrative, political and religious authorities to continue sensitizing the population on the dangers of destroying trees which are meant to protect our environment.
