MINFOF takes part in the 2025 International Labor Day celebration

“Social dialogue and decent work for a serene Cameroon” was the theme chosen for the celebration of the 139th edition of International Labor Day on Thursday, May 1, 2025. For the occasion, the entire staff of the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife gathered in the Mvog-Betsi Zoo-Botanic garden after the match pass to commune in harmony with the Head of the Forestry and Wildlife sub-sector.

When Mr. Jules Doret NDONGO, Minister of Forestry and Wildlife, arrived at the Mvog-Betsi Zoo-Botanic garden, he was greeted by the Secretary General, the Inspector General and the 14 staff delegates from his ministerial department. The representative of the staff delegates, Mr. Amougou Anthony, in his speech, emphasized the prospects for improving the working conditions of MINFOF staff.

In a response, Minister Jules Doret Ndongo paid fervent tribute to all the workers in his ministerial department. He praised the efforts made by his staff, despite all the difficulties encountered in the performance of their duties, in implementing the forestry and wildlife policy defined by the Head of State, His Excellency Paul BIYA, President of the Republic of Cameroon.
