The Minister of Forestry and Wildlife, His Excellency Jules Doret NDONGO, granted an audience today to His Excellency MINAMI Kentaro, Ambassador of Japan to Cameroon. The meeting took place at 10:00 AM in the conference room of Ministerial Building No. 2, Room 635.
On this occasion, the Minister and his guest, accompanied by some of their close collaborators, took the opportunity to review the state of cooperation between the two countries and discuss future prospects. Their discussions focused on key development areas, including agriculture, fisheries, the promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises, the development of economic infrastructure, environmental protection, and the fight against the illegal exploitation of natural resources.
Having arrived in December 2024, the Japanese Plenipotentiary aims to sustain and further strengthen the already dynamic cooperation between the two countries in the forestry and wildlife sub-sector through concrete actions.
