JICA resident representative at MINFOF

The Conference Room of MINFOF was the setting for an audience granted by the Minister of Forestry and Wildlife to the Resident Representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency on February 06, 2025.

During the audience, which was attended by some of the Minister's close collaborators, the Resident Representative, Mr KAGEYAMA Tadashi, came to introduce to the Head of Department a delegation from JICA's General Management in Japan who were visiting Cameroon.

The meeting provided an opportunity for both parties to discuss ways of strengthening cooperation between Cameroon and Japan. After making a major donation of equipment in 2024 to the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife, JICA is planning to implement investment projects at the National Forestry School of Mbalmayo, with the aim of enabling this prestigious school to extend its range of training courses, thereby adding value both nationally and at sub-regional level.
