Wearing of Rank Insignia for MINFOF Personnel: A Grateful Nation

On **January 31, 2025**, the **honor courtyard** of the **National School of Water and Forests in Mbalmayo** hosted the **second official ceremony** for the **wearing of rank insignia** by personnel of the **Ministry of Forests and Wildlife (MINFOF)**, under the presidency of the **Minister**, Mr. **Jules Doret NDONGO**.

For the occasion, he was accompanied by the **Minister of Women's Empowerment and the Family, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Delegate Minister to the Minister of State for Justice and Keeper of the Seals, and the Governor of the Central Region**.

Also in attendance were **heads of diplomatic missions, representatives of other government administrations, special guests, senior and decentralized officials of MINFOF, local authorities, and the families of the honorees**.

In total, around **400 personnel** were honored, including **public works engineers, engineers, trainee engineers, technicians, and assistant technicians in water and forestry**.

In his address, the **Minister** emphasized that this ceremony was, above all, a **recognition from the hierarchy and the nation** for the dedication, hard work, and sacrifices of these agents. He urged the honorees to demonstrate even greater **discipline, availability, and commitment** to upholding the values of their profession.

It should be recalled that the **Minister of Forests and Wildlife has committed to making this official insignia-wearing ceremony a tradition within the Ministry**.
